Terms of Service & Data Governance Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. Data Privacy & GDPR Compliance

DealNote operates in strict alignment with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and international data privacy standards. Personal information, institutional details, and customer Know Your Customer (KYC) records collected through this platform are used solely for the generation of deal notes, levy calculations, and required financial record-keeping. Under no circumstances will your data or your clients' personal data be sold, leased, or monetized for third-party commercial activities.

2. Financial Data Security & Governance

We implement enterprise-grade security controls to protect transactional payloads. All uploads (CSV/XLSX) and generated PDF records are processed through encrypted channels and stored in isolated database environments compliant with financial regulatory standards. Strict role-based access controls ensure that no unauthorized entity, including other registered brokers, can view or infer your execution data.

3. Bulk Uploads & User Discretion

All file uploads (including execution logs containing prices, volumes, participant codes, and client names) are conducted entirely at the owner's discretion. The registering broker warrants that they possess the necessary regulatory authority and client consent to process these records through the DealNote generator. DealNote acts strictly as an automated processing engine and assumes no liability for inaccurate source data provided by the broker.

4. Data Leak Zero-Tolerance

Our architecture enforces strict multi-tenant isolation. System logs are audited periodically to ensure zero data leakage across broker accounts. In the event of a regulatory audit, exported accounting files (Excel/CSV) remain strictly under the administrative control of the account holder.

If you have questions regarding data governance or wish to exercise right-to-be-forgotten protocols for offboarded clients, please contact system administration.
